Funny just said damn near the same thing to the wife today about selling the carver and just keeping the lonestarI've gone back to 16' tin boats three times. Wife, dog, cooler and room for two more once in a while. Light enough to tow to the water fast without sucking gas and will cruise all day on 20 bucks worth of fuel. You can run them up on any beach and fight thru a crowded ramp with ease. The best part is that it's so simple, cheap and easy to use that you use it more often. Only have half a day? Only on water skis and that was only after after the whale tail broke off the fin.hey, I know. Has anyone ever tried trim tabs on their skis, lol. That should bring it back

If my LS ever gets finished, might be able to relate. The 21 Mariner is a hard boat to sell, but a 16 tinny might be the ultimate hull.
