The only thing the Jets have caught lately makes it hurt when they pee.

Re: NFL - Divisional Playoffs

I have a few biotches about TV in regards to playoffs:

1) The 2nd game started before the 1st one was over. I don't recall that before during playoffs. Your recollections?

2) So of course we started recording the 2nd game while we watched the 1st. And they flippin' gave us updates!!! Grrrrr.

3) Fox thinks that a game only lasts 3 hours. Has there been an NFL game in the last 20 years that has lasted less than 3 hours? At least CBS understands they are typically 3.5 hours.

For those of us who use DVRs (to the Network's detriment), this stuff is particularly annoying.

Yep, agree with all your bullet points.... A lot of times I set the dvr to stop recording 1hr after the time a program is supposed to end to try and alleviate any programming glitches. Do that all the time for NASCAR.

Game on!

Please, please, don't let Denver/Baltimore be the only good game of the weekend. Thank you.

Wow! What an ending! Talk about a swing of emotions between the 2 teams with seconds to go........ Like everyone else thought, it sure looked like Seattle had pulled off a heck of a come back...

Well 30 some second heroics by ATL. After SEA scored to lead by a point, the wife and I went out for a smoke figuring it was over. . We're sitting talking about the playoffs to date and the upcoming HOU- NE game. I also commented that I wasn't watching the local news tonight cause the sportscasters would be all weepy and moaning about the Falcons losing in the playoffs - again. All of a sudden we heard cheers and whooping all over the neighborhood.. Rushed inside to see that ATL managed to kick a FG. I'm picking SF over ATL.

Posting - LIVE - from Gillette Stadium . . .

Nice time out call, Pete Carroll . . .

Brady looks a bit off tonight, missing some throws. Houston looks OK. We'll see what the second half brings

Posting to a forum while at the game? Now there's a real Iboat team player........

Hey, it's the least he should do. I just spent the last 2 hours watching a Big 10 basketball game between Iowa and Northwestern (I'm and Iowa fan) and we had at least 10 people in the game thread posting from the game. Need those valuable real time insights.
