Re: NFL Round 2 Make your picks
Guageguy,
A few points I would like to make. Neil O'Donnell may be in the twilight of his career, but make no mistake about it, he is still a good quarterback. Don't forget that he has been to two superbowls, and was the starter in one of them. But you can't judge a Quarterback on one game. If O'Donnell was as good as McNair, he wouldn't have been at home on the couch eating chips.
Why do you think the Titans went and got O'Donnell anyway?.............because he was a backup to McNair for years and he knows the playbook. I hardly think any Quarterback could come in and do what O'Donnell did without being very familiar with the system.

Name another receiver, besides Mason, (without cheating), for the Titans...............ain't easy is it. The Titans hardly have well known receivers.

Now, as for why McNair was voted co-mvp, I will compare his numbers with Tom Brady:

.......................McNair.......Brady
Comp-----------250----------317
Att------------400----------527
Yds-----------3215---------3620
Cmp%----------62.5---------60.2
Yds/A----------8.04---------6.87
TD--------------24-----------23
TD%-----------6.0----------4.4
Int--------------7------------12
Int%-----------1.8----------2.3
Sacked----------19-----------32
QB Rating------100.4--------85.9

Thats just a comparison with Brady, since thats who the Titans are playing. McNair had 127 fewer attempts and has more TD's.

I'm sorry, but those are MVP numbers, and McNair didn't even play in one regular season game at all, (BTW-these are all regular season numbers).

Ralph, I figured you would appreciate my research.

McNair makes everyone around him better, and thats why he's co-MVP.
