They're both silver. Her ring has 5 freshwater pearls on it, 3 white and two black ones.

They are unique! Very nice! Do I remember correctly ... in most European cultures you get the wedding ring and put it on the left hand when you are engaged and then move it to the right hand when you are married, or is it the other way around?

Either way it is different then our engagement ring and then wedding ring - your way is MUCH cheaper!

Ha ha call it cheaper she has got her engagement ring already.
The left and right thing is about if you are a protestant or a catholic.
I don't know who puts them left an who has to put him right.

doesn't mater we aren't one of both :D

Very different Turin, I like them. Tell me this, how did she "lure" you into shopping for them ? I'd like to try out her luring methods. ;)

Re: Our wedding rings

Here's the method she used:

Constantly talk about how nice it would be to have the wedding rings. How nice it would be that when we would go looking for them, that particular part of the wedding preparations would be over, and I would never have to go look for them again. And did I tell you that she constantly talked about how nice it would be to go look for them and find them? etc...

Did you know that those rings actually have the power to make you both do things that you may never think of doing had you not possess them.;)
Congratulations.:)

They are out of normal here to but they look a bit like the jewellery that people used to wear (klederdracht) in the past.

We don't like to have the same as every one else.

Very nice!

While you are in the shopping mood..... I might suggest a good Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaners since you do gardening. It is a worthwhile investment to keep the jewelery looking good!

Wow, you are getting closer to the big day when the rings have been purchased!

Re: Our wedding rings

Its been tradition in my family (for as far back as I was able to research) that an engagement to marry was signified by the purchase of at least a 19ft ocean going boat by the groom.

I don't know where people get this silly ring idea from....

HAHAHAH :D :D Ill suggest it.

About the jewellery cleaner I'm planing on not to wear it to my work its a ring that is not easy to clean and my fianc?e is a hair dresser so she isn't able to wear it to because the pearls cant stand soap or chemicals

Cool thay kinda look Celtic. You know from the time of King Arther. Nothing like having something different from every one else. I always liked the earthy look:).
