hey guys I think I have thought and read myself in circles on this one.
I am about to change props on my rig. I currently run a 16p ss prop on my
f100. great for water sports and such but not great for just cruising around. SO I am going to order a Turning Point prop from Iboats, but go up in pitch. I ran a buddies 19p ss on my motor and it ran really well. Took my wot prm to about 5700 and 42 on GPS. But I know aluminum is different.
Should I take the AL to an even higher pitch to achieve sam rpm and speed since it flexes and such?
My rpm range is 5000-6000. And I am just trying to optimize cruising speed and efficiancy for the motor, with a light load.
Thanks
