Re: Presidential address on Irag
Plywoody pecked this amoung other jewels of literary genius-----"Only to say that we are going to need a ton more troops to get this done, and I did get a kick out of someone in a previous thread saying that in Chris Matthew's college tour, he was surprised when so many college students we so much in support of this war. What he did not mention was that Chris always asked the audience how many were prepared to enlist and fight, and without exception, no more than a handful ever would raise their hands.
How many are going to volunteer to join the Iraq shooting gallery?"
You really need to clean out you ears, and unscrew your brain,Plywoody. Apparently, you didn't LISTEN to what Bush said. You may have sat there cursing under your breath in seathing hatered of him, but you did not listen to what he said.
He said "Whatever it takes". Therefore, how much money will it cost us, Plywoody? Do you believe it will end at the figure given, after he stood there and told you "whatever it takes, wherever terrorism tries to regroup---" Your buds in the liberal media have been somewhat lax in thier duties to report US casulties over the past 2 weeks...Why? BECAUSE THERE WEREN'T ANY!!!! Not to make more out of this fact than is actually there, but they failed to report this.At minimum, they made it a non-issue..."nothing to pick on here, give us dirty laundry". They also seek-out the biggest group of indigenious people, carrying the largest signs, in protest to our efforts, and position themselves to make 100 or so look like 1000. And you dang well know this.Just as colleges allways inlist the pear-pressure meathods of recruitment into the socialist movement at every opertunity. To take anything that take place on a campus in this country is to distort the issue with images of peace protests, earth day SUV burnings and such, and many Americans are not only sick and tired of seeing it, they are beginning to fight it! And you dang well know this.
Then, we must put up with you and you small band of Baath party sympathisers here. Why don't you just go away? You don't like us. We are predominently pro-American here, and all you do is anger us with your BS oozing from every opertunity.
It serves no other purpose, than to anger Americans, Plyuwoody. It can't, regardless of what you let on it does (freedm of speach and all that rot, I can just hear you now).
America is AT WAR with terrorism. This is global!
I would not blink twice if Colin Powel got on the tube tonite and said "We just went into Ireland to make a prescission-attack on IRA headquarters". Yes, there are still avtive terrorist cells there, and therefore, targets in a war on terrorism.
Commander in Chief commands the generals.Let him.

Generals handle attack plans..Let them.

News media reports the news (the news that sells whatever we are currently buying. They are still predominantly STUCK in Saigon at this time, and we can't do much about that..Except to watch news we can trust, and let these pushers of perversion whither on the vine.
It's the soldiers job to die for his country if called-upon to do so, and at minimum, to follow the gereral's orders...Period.
It's the American citizen's job to suport our troops 100%, and to encourage them any way we can.
No thanks to you and your operatives.

But as long as busload upon bussload of terroists come into Iraq, let's keep the fronts down to a manageable minimum, while inflicting the largest number of mutant casulties. Keep your busses commin, Plywoody.. Best to wipe them from the face of the Earth, and take care of colateral damage there than in Florida or New York.
"Whatever it takes", in spite of you .
You might as well refocus your efforts on the "Draft Hilarah" campaign. But do it elsewhere.
Because Hilarah is a joke here.Healthy debate is one thing. Constant trolls are another.
