removing carpet glue

I am going to be tearing out all the carpet in my boat and replacing with a roll on non skid floor.It is an all aluminum boat,is there some kind of glue remover that someone can recamend for me to use?

Strip-eze or Toluene should work, just have to let it soak in, be patient. You'll also want to scuff up the aluminum before painting with scotch-brite pads or something similiar.

Put a wire cup brush on a 4" angle grinder, worked like a charm for me.

Ayuh,... I Agree,...
Just be Careful, you can go from no glue, to a Hole rather quickly on an aluminum barge...
