Hello and Happy new year,
I bought from overtons water pressure gauge but they don't sell the sending unit that attaches to the engine. Can you please tell me a site where I can order it.
Thanks

Re: Sending unit

there Is No Sending unit.....
you just need to tap into the cooling system,+ then run a small plastic line to the gauge....

Re: Sending unit

Bondo
Don't you need the sending unit so you can attach it to the engine and then wire it to the gauge??

Re: Sending unit

stemar,

If you have a water pressure guage, there is no sending unit. Most use a plastic or nylon tubing "tee" that splices into the telltale line.

Re: Sending unit

stemar,

All you need is some tubing and a "tee".

The tuibing inside diameter should be the same size as the outside diameter of the nipple on the back of the guage.

Then, you will need a 3-way tee to tie into the telltale line on the engine. An automotive vacuum line tee will work fine for this as well as automotive vacuum hose.

The tell tale, on the back of the engine has a discharge line going from the cylinder head to the outlet. Simply cut and splice the tee into that line. The open end of the tee goes to the guage.

Re: Sending unit

Only need to hook up electric if you want the light inside the gauge to work at night when you turn on the navigation lights... ;)
