Had a survey performed on a Bayliner that I decided to pass on due to a saturated transom. The broker had been away on business and returned today. I spoke to him and told him I planned to pass on the boat.
He asked me if I would mind faxing him a copy of the survey when I get it, to add to the file he has on the boat. At first I thought, sure... but then I thought, "Wait a minute. That survey cost me $300. If he or the owner want one, they can buy their own."
I sidestepped the subject and hung up with him. What would you do? I'm very tempted to offer him a copy for $150.
