You need a tapered punch to get the bushing out, then the o-ring just drops out. You can make a punch quite easily, from a length of rod the diameter of which is bigger than the hole in the bushing, but small enough that it'll fit through the hole underneath the bushing. Taper the end of the rod so that it's smaller than the hole in the bushing.<br />Insert the punch from underneath and give it a sharp blow with a hammer, the bushing should come out quite easily. I took the precaution of making my punch from aluminium, which is softer than the bush to avoid damaging it. <br />You can use the same punch to refit the bushing from the top.
