sorry chief. some bad weather put me to work. i havent had any time,
i might get to it today. it looks to have rust between the two housings, i have
only got it slid out about a 1/8in.
and wd40 is the only thing i dont have.

Could be permatex cause your supposed to put it around the water pump housing and seal it.

well now i can twist (with lots of force) from left to right 1/4 of a turn and it stops, but i cant get it to slide out no more
than it is already. still working on it.

ok today i tryed a new way of pulling it.(PIC)
now that im able to spin it i have noticed that i have unlocked the upper drive, (that housing is in there that tight???) because the gear up at the very top is spinning now but its still kind of tuff to spin... but hey its unlocked now.

So slap that mother out already, jeez i'm getting older by the minute i could be dead by the time you get it out.

How long you think i got to live anyway.

Ok CAREFULLY, VERY CAREFULLY, put some heat to the outside of the housing.

Keep it moving the heat.

Can you grab the shaft with a lock jaw plier?

The guts are all torn up inside the housing.

Might be cheaper to just get a used upper 400. They are on e-bay all the time.

I have seen the whole drive for 400 bucks.

WELL I GOT IT OUT WHOOHOO!
its the bearing at the top part#21545, right under the gear. it has busted up and caused a jam.

That bearing can be had here at these places.

thanks. i found one on TC elect for $75 but its kinda hard times to spend that on 1 bearing, know what i mean? i thank my brother will buy it tho.
right know im trying to pull it all apart, its kind of jamed up with the busted bearings inside. i thank its coming along good for a first timer.
