I went camping a couple of weeks ago and left my boat on the beach while we drove out to the store and someone stole the plug out of my boat and replaced it with a wad of duct tape. Needless to say that didn't last very long and my boat sank, fortunalty close to shore so I was able to hook on with my Yukon and tow it up onto the boat launch. The only thing out of water was the bow. This is a 1988 70HP jonhson, I got all the water out of the motor and remote oil tank, carbs etc and she fired right up and ran good so we finished our vacation. My question is is there any other place that should be drained/ oil replaced on this unit before winter arrives? I live in Maine.
