Build one out of 3/4 inch plywood - from the under side. use a small piece of dimensional lumber or micro lam, on the back of platform. to bolt to transom from the inside of boat ad some triangle knees to the under side. than glass it up, and coat with dura bank.
My platform is being built using most of these ideas. Using 3/4 plywood, I shaped to fit the boat. 2x4's are laid in shape on bottom and the rear is tapered to allow the boat name to be displayed when finished.
A telescoping ladder will be mounted on the driver side allowing a side entry point (away from prop etc).
The entire thing will be glassed twice with cloth and resin then painted with enamel and a non-slip additive for the topside.
6 lag bolts in the rear connecting hull to the platform and then 4 brackets made from 1-1/2" steel angle will be shaped to form a triangle bracket. Brackets will be powder coated not painted.
I'll put two 1/4" bolts in each bracket thru the hull of the boat (grade 8 bolts are more than enough) and two lag bolts into the platform from the bottom up.
My platform is going to double as a swim platform and a fishing platform. I'm installing a removable seat pedestal in the center to give more fishing seats. My youngest son has already claimed it (knowing he has to wear his life jacket the whole time).
This will also give me easier access to landing larger fish.
