Today is the day I remove my iboats link from the work pc......

Today is the day I take my coffee cup for a ride .......

All of my passwords are typed alond side the websites and printed......

Today I hit the timeclock for the last time........

Yup, I was offered a new position. I am leaving my great job at Toyota for a greater job with a college. Yes, I mentioned that I had purchased a Yaris ...... I needed the economy car for the new job.

I have been pretty silent about the whole thing. I have been a chess player and today is checkmate.... game over. ;)

New job starts in a week.

Congratulations!

I was told over a year ago my department would be eliminated, but the company keeps extending it because they can't figure out how to function without us. But I suspect we'll all be gone in another month or so.

What will you be doing at the college?

Once a recruiter, always a recruiter! Just now it is for chefs instead of privates!

Congrats on the move! Enjoy the fishing around the great state of Vermont!

Done.

Arrived at Fort Home Safe and relaxed!

Going to working for the CT Culinary Institute as an Admissions Recruiter.

I spoke with Aspeck today on the phone and my plans are to recruit with the fishing rod in the car. The job will take me to all points in VT and I intend on sampling the trout streams. When I was the Army Recruiter here in VT we always carried a pole (and a good gun during deer season :D).

Congrats Bob, and it's a small world! My last day as an aerospace design engineer is Wednesday. Going back to my alma mater 24 yrs after graduation to be the engineering laboratories supervisor. Trading in a 20 yr manufacturing career for academia. Tough decision, feels like the right one to me now. Good luck to you!!!!

Bob's the only iBoats member I've ever talked to on the phone BTW.

If that means you're lonely, PM me your phone number and I'll pass it on to some of my telephone solicitors.:D

I will never give up the Special Effects business. It has slowed up a bit but there are a few smaller movies in the future. I will be basically working in VT with an entire state between the boss and my work area!

Mike.... The new job is coming with a new laptop..... You know I am going to push for xp and try to avoid the V
