Ahh...another project! Are you sure your yolk shaft is grooved? May just be a bad seal... On the other hand, you could speedi-sleeve it and not have to go looking at replacing the yoke shaft (are your u-joints that bad, too, that you would want to find a "used" u-joint setup?) A new yoke shaft is about 130.00...and then you could look at new u-joint crosses and bearings (50 bucks a set).... all not much more than 200, for new pieces. The spanner wrench is 35 bucks on amazon. Not advisable to try and go after that retainer nut without the "right" spanner.... People have done this and have not had good results (unless you craftly build your own spanner....but what is your time worth?). You need to make sure your wrench (whatever you choose to use) applies the correct 200 f-tlbs torque (as explained in the manual) and doesn't mess up the tabs (could affect the bell housing O-ring).
