Would it be advisable to bevel the exhaust and intake ports in a cross flow motor thanks for any response

Explain what you mean by --" bevel " ---in this modification---Or did you mean " chamfer " here.-----A diagram ?

If your talking about porting and polishing I wouldn’t waste your time.
I know a guy that payed big bucks to have this done and there were no noticeable gains at the of the day.

If you bore out a cylinder you have to break ( chamfer ) sharp edges.----Break sharp edges on crankshaft sealing rings !----Best not to use the factory rings and pistons.-----They are the reason for ring breakage !-----Use WISECO pistons / rings.-----And don't put new rings in old worn out ring grooves.------In my opinion most folks do not understand that those ring grooves are worn out.-----Look at them under a microscope at 10X magnification and it is easy to understand !
