Re: Valentines Day - tick-tock Guys

someone has got to have the kahonas to say that us men are not getting fair deal! we don't have no stinking anti-valentines day! and if we tried to get some peace & quiet on the 1 day we have- fathers day, well then the wifie would be offended that they didn't get to share that day with us! they're manipulating us into making it THEIR day again :(

men's liberation is what we need! no more valentines! :D

...at least that was the conversation me & the other 2 guys had standing at the greeting card section of the grocery store last night

Ahoy men on board here!!!..I discovered a very excellent gift that is a sure winner.

I presented the usual card, etc. And a gift. The gift was a couple thong panties. Lovely Bride was kinda horned up by the intimate thought. I was very horned up due the "fashion show" I received.

....Very Cool......... :D

At the end of work I called ahead to Outback and ordered 2 steak dinners to go.
She met me at the deckboat where we took a leisurely cruise to a cove and dropped anchor.
Nice dinner on the boat, quiet music and conversation.
Oh ya, I had roses and a nice card waiting for her when she got home prior to the "Dinner Cruise".

:D :) :D

Re: Valentines Day - tick-tock Guys

Hi,

some years ago after getting home particularly late I realised that I had forgotten to buy anything. Both my wife and I are extremely unromantic and regularly forget birthdays, anniversaries etc. Yup she does too, normally more so than I do. Fortunately this has never been a problem and we are not hung up about it.

Having said which on this particular valentines eve I was feeling particularly appreciative of the support and love I was getting whilst having spent a disproportionate amount of time at work. I really wanted to do something for her but by the time I had got home the shops were closed.

After much thought I decided to make a ticket book with perforations so that one could tear of the ticket leaving the stub. On each of the tickets and corresponding stubs I printed a different activity. These included things like

make dinner
clean the house
take me out
full body massage
take the kids, give me a day off

These were redeemable during the course of the year as and when she required. I was not allowed to contest and would have to "produce the goods" when prensented with a ticket.

To this day she will claim that that has to be the best present she ever got.

So guys the next time you forget try this one it worked a treat.

Cheers
Andrew

valentines day is a holiday? someones has to tell the company i work for that we get holiday pay today. well i have to work today but right after work i am planning on rushing her up to the lake to enjoy the after ice fishing derby party. if i did not have to work i would have taken her up there to enjoy the fishing derby too. :D i did cover myself tho and bought her a nice matching earings necklace and ring set. diamonds and saphires.

Re: Valentines Day - tick-tock Guys

Aw geez, I knew this would come up. Its much harder to buy for a guy and like I said it is OUR holiday. :p

I bought him a polar jacket to wear on the boat. He'll be able to test its warmth today at Mardi Gras since its raining, winds predicted 20-30 mph and 47 degrees.

Usually, no matter what the holiday its a boat or fishing related gift. Not very romantic this year I know, but in year's past I always prepared a candle lit dinner for two of tenderloin and tail accompanied by a very nice bottle of merlot, soft music and well desert is my secret. :)
