Looking for any help!! I have an AQ 151A from 1986 in a Sun Ruuner 210B . I have rebuilt the top end of the motor and it runs amazing!! the issue I have is the strainer housing on the side of the heat exchanger. It seems that when I put it back together I pushed the coolant line from the sea water pump into the back of the strainer housing to hard and it broke the 90 degree connection on the back. it broke right where the screws go in and hold it in place. I have reattached it with some JB weld and it seems to hold fairly well but it makes me nervous when I take the boat out. So the questions is has anyone bypassed the strainer housing and if so how? I researched the part and for that little plastic part is like $300 any advice would be greatly appreciated.
