Sounds like a nice boat. Amazing you can get 60 out of a boat that big not meant to go fast. I'd kill for that kind of speed.

Depending on if it was GPS or pressure speedo . . . As discussed in a recent thread GPS units really slow boats down, it seems. Regardless, seems like good speed for that boat.

I know the novelty of a gps wore off the instant I realized my boat is slower on the speedo. Now I'll let passengers believe the pitot speedo all day. Amazing what displacement can overcome.

... the trim indicator didnt work. Assuming we can resolve these issues, we will be in the Chaparral Family.

Common problem, happens all the time. Sometimes it's a simple fix, other times the wires are nearly impossible to reach!

Also, you can "officially" join the Chaparral Family, as you spelled it right this time!
