i beleive i have my problem, when i took the heads off i found the number two piston filled with water. i beleive this is due to a blown head gasket from the condition i could see the gasket in. i inspected the block by making the pistons go up and down and couldnt find anything to suggest a cracked block WHEW. so i will clean everything and replace and then see where that puts me.
