i beleive i have my problem, when i took the heads off i found the number two piston filled with water. i beleive this is due to a blown head gasket from the condition i could see the gasket in. i inspected the block by making the pistons go up and down and couldnt find anything to suggest a cracked block WHEW. so i will clean everything and replace and then see where that puts me.

where would i get a head gasket anyway? would autozone have one?

also i need a trim tilt motor, my boat didnt come with one.

doug russel or used or ebay<br /><br />like i said before you need to look at the BIG picture and locate EVERYTHING you need before you get hafeway done and find out you need a 800 dollar starter motor or a 1200 dollar whatever and you decide to bail out<br /><br />tommays

well now i am talking to volvo and they cant tell me thye dont know whether its a 115 a or b or what. how would i tell?

Head gaskets are easy to find. You may find them here at IBoats. I did a quick look at another vendor I use and they have them readily available.
