Hi All,
After grenading my 115hp in-line 6 I puchased a 1969 125hp in-line 6 that has been completely rebuilt. New powerhead, waterpump, carbs, fuel pumps etc.

Started the motor tonight with the hose and muffs on (and it started first go!!) but no water pressure on my gauge or from the pee hole.

I was thinking of briefly running the engine with the motor in the river just in case it makes some sort of difference.
Anyone have any experience with similar? I don't want to pull the gearbox off.

If this doesn't help, I will pull the gearbox off. Is there a way to check the water passages i.e. a water hose up the intake tube to see if I get some pressure?

Any advice appreciated....
