Re: What if the lawyer died
I think it's pretty lame for guys who ought to know better to be out accidentallyshooting their hunting partners, but it's even lamer to have blamed the victim for getting shot, or to act like, "hey, getting shot up every now and then is just part of the way hunting works, OK?"<br /><br />I don't think it was necessarily a big news story that had to break that very second, and I'm sure if **** had a choice, he probably would have preferred it not get out and about, but I don't see the "coverup", just the pathetic excuses and lame statements.<br /><br />I taught firearm safety at Boy Scout camp two summers running when I was a junior and senior in HS, and when you follow a few basic rules, you don't shoot your hunting partners. If you do manage to shoot your hunting partner, it's your fault because you pulled the trigger while not following the rules. Which is what essentially what **** ended up saying, but not before a whole bunch of apologists stepped in to blame the victim and act like gettting shot is just part of the game.
