Had a flat tire, kept driving until it wore the wheel right down to the nub. Maybe carry a spare tire?

Feel free^^^ I picked the term up from a mentor of mine way back.....

Seriously, it looks like someone took a torch to it, probably with the tire still mounted, which can result in an extraordinary display of flying rubber and steel, and limbs.

Maybe it was just a stuck brake, or a really , really bad hub that caused the overheat.

A gal who shall remain nameless was driving out to Nevada pulling a trailer with a couple of ATVs on it, to spend a week with her hubby who is a travelling heavy equipment mechanic. Somewhere in the wilds of Nevada, she ran over a dead deer lying on the interstate. Right away she felt a thumping vibration and thought, ?Oh, great! That stinky, dead deer is hung up on the trailer. I?ll just keep driving until it wears itself off!? Ummm, I guess it wasn?t the dead deer causing the thumping. This is all that was left of the wheel rim when she realized she had a flat tire. Called a tow truck, and he couldn?t get the remains of the rim off the wheel hub. Ended up calling hubby, and he ended up driving 200 miles in his tool truck to get her fixed and back on the road!

No it was not my wife!

Probably smoothed right after the tire quit slapping the wheelwell, that's a good one though.

someone needs to teach her that the mirrors on a vehicle are not for staring at yourself, but to actually look behind you.

Many women never learned the real use of the mirrors when driving.They look over their shoulders and turn every which way when merging into traffic.Let alone watching a trailer...

Well, I DID get run clean off the road by a woman while on my way home from work this afternoon! I ended up on the paved shoulder when she pulled into my lane when I was about along side of her.

The gal in the story, however is usually much sharper than that.

I'm not a huge fan of these guess what this is while I hold you in suspense threads but I guess I'll play.

Making a fire pit out of an old rim?? (ok so that only works with tractor rims)

The sickest part for me she was actually okay with grinding the dear gone!!

The other day my wife stopped 20 feet behind the car in front of her I was so proud of her, Too bad he was towing a 24 foot boat!
