Currently my engine has 59D high speed orifices. What is that next size up that fits my carbs? It's a 150vx 2001 V6.

THX!

Oh...and an OMC part number would really be swell!!d:)

The next bigger jet is a 60D, the part numbers are in the service manual. Be sure to look at the "D" jets, not the "C" jets.

Why do you want to go richer? Are you planning on using higher octane?

Oh great one where do I start.
My boat only goes 4800rpm using a 14.25 X 19 prop with only one person on it. IT's just like your Dusky and we've talked before. You swing the same prop and you get around 5800. I for some reason can't. Here is what I've done.
CHanged Spark plugs(spark on all six), coils, wires, PP, and even the stator. Checked all the magnets on the flywheel. I"ve made sure the engine is at the correct height and nOthing!:'( I have an OMC timing thingy and the timing is dead on. I have clean all my carbs(torn down and put back together as per manual). Syn and linked and after I did that....I went from 1k to 800rpm on muffs and idling out of the harbor I do around 650, so my carbs are working even better than before. I have also changed Tachs. Only thing is....I punch it and I'm missing what I need. One thing I have noticed is....if I turn the red lever on the choke solenoid and put it in "manual" ( pointing about 5pm ) I tend to get a bit more speed out of it. Since a small amount of gas is leaking straight into the engine and bypassing the carbs...the monster has more fuel to feed.
I also have checked the lines for leaks. I've put a fuel tank on, I've checked for restrictions. Basically I've checked everything and nothing. I even took it to a "wrench". He took it out for a run and told me that BRP says between 4500 and 5500 you're good to go. I didn't answer back and took my boat and left. Jerk!
My next step, I'm thinking , is to run it a little richer and see if that helps. Right now my engine gets up and goes(plains out). On my GpS, in good conditions, I'm registering 40mph, but the rpms ain't there. I don't know what else to do, so I figure....I'll try the high speed jets. IF it bogs...then I'll try something else. But I have to at least try and do it right. I don't wanna just dump fuel into the engine and cheat. Something bad might happen. Then I would have to spend more time with my wife.:^

Sorry my friend. I've looked up and down my manual and I have not been able to find any number. If you would be so kind (pretty please). Could you please post the omc numbers for the 60D?:D

Unfortunately I don't have a service manual here, they're at the marina. If you look in an OE manual the jets are all listed in the front. There's about 3 pages of them listed by type, then size with the part numbers.

If you hit the primer and the rpms pick up, it's too lean. We need to look at the carbs again. And the throttle bodys.

What is the timing set at when you're at 4800-4900?

If you make a top end run, cut it off clean and then pull #1 spark plug. Is there any sign of water? Any at all?

I've also squeezed the bulb with the motor at WOT. NOthing. I've checked all plugs and they look clean. I can go out for a while, hang out and/or fish and the motor starts right up on the first try. AFter all the things I've done...that motor is basically new.
I forgot to mention in my previous post all cylinders measure between 112-115.
The timing I assume is at 20 BTDC. The way I time is using the OMC Analyzer. I've tried doing it on the trailer, but the boat starts to move a little and the last thing I need is to have one of those boat trucks going down the road if you know what I mean. :^
