What is this called?

I was wondering what the top deck of this boat is called? (the part that the guy in the green shirt is on.) its on nearly all sport fishing boats. Would it be possible to make one custom for a 26' boat? how much should it cost about?

I think they're called tramps. The costs are directly proportionate to the number of teeth they have

Not sure what the deck is he's standing on but the tower is a Tuna Tower. Cost is going to depend on if you use aluminum or stainless and the configuration. Can it be made for your boat? I like to say, "anything is possible on a boat". I've built 50 footers with Tuna towers. Cost? Maybe $3500.00 to $5500.00 or more.

What he is standing on is the hardtop, which is enclosed and intergrated with with the tower.

You could install a diving board on the top.
Oh...not THAT kind of diving.!

Yep, a Tuna Tower.
Now I wouldn't be shocked to see a wakeboard rope attached to that one day with the tower speakers and lights.

I once had a 30 ft drummond with a 12 ft tuna tower and rough seas or not its alot of fun driving from up there and yes they also make a great diving platform.

wow if i can come up with the money that would be an awesome project, man im stoked on the idea. would it be difficult (costly) to get steering installed up there?

I would say no but I have a 28' Carver I'm restoring and I'm doing a lot of stuff that others may seem overkill or silly for a boat this size. My deal is that, hey, it's my boat and I'm going to make it right for me.

would the boat not be as sturdy though? i mean would the boat sway alot more i guess is what i mean
