I’m sure you’re right as much as you are wrong. Heck, I’m still trying to get to that kind of ratio, lol. Yes, she’s not a long term keeper and I have confirmed she’s solid enough to last someone a few more seasons. Shoot, I moved the whole boat off the ground messing with the tilt so I know the transom will hold ( on top of drilling for a new skimmer, lol).
ok, I know this update is tiny, but at least it’s progress! I got the hood in primer, woot. Standard process...used citrus trip to take the old paint off, sanded with 120 then 220, rubber it down with acetone, taped off the rubber seal and voila! I’m still waffling on color. Can’t find the original close so I’ll have to order it if that’s the route I go. Still need to do a little faring on a nick or two then shoot a 2nd coat of the primer so I have time. But she’s not getting totally ignore, lol.
oh and I started removing every piece of wood trim and I’m replacing it with PVC. So I’ll post pics when that goes in.
