Wow! Cool. OK, Rule alert!! Rule alert part deux... Actually another question. WTH is up with the grounding, and less than one minute, and 10 seconds deal?

Note to Don S if he's watching. I don't feel like Googling it. I just spent an hour honing my understanding of the one point safety. I now know why you NEVER see it in the NFL although it is possible.

To legally throw the ball away you have to be outside the tackle box and the ball must go beyond the line of scrimmage. If not, there must be a receiver in the area.

I knew that Captain Obvious.... What about the 10 second thing within one minute thing? Better stated. Why did the clock lose 10 seconds optional to the Colts? Optional to anyone?

And stop with the scoring updates, I am about 5 minutes behind, you have now messed me up twice. Can you please just use this thread, that WIMUSKY started, as I want? Thanks.

Okay, no updates. The 10 second run off is when the offense commits a penalty within the last minute of a half the option is a 10 second run off or use a time out, if you have one left. If there is an injury in the last minute, same thing, but you are given a 4th time out for injury. Does that make sense?
