so recently I purchased two Chrysler 75 hp engines for I would say a steal. $150 for two complete engines. one was in rough shape and seized. other turned freely but had 125 152 40 on compression. I just completely went through the engine and re ringed it. its all back together and passed compression with flying colors at 150 148 150. honed cylinders as well. bottom piston was scored but I salvaged a good one from the top of seized engine. the other two were scored. got lucky. my question now is what can I do to make a cheap ignition switch for testing on the stand? don't want to fry anything that's good in electrical system. the model is 757 hb 1976. I did take many pics through the process and will put up in the restore area when she comes to life. the inside of distributer looked amazing with no corrosion or dirt cob webs nothing. but I yet to know if the box and coil work. I have 2 of everything though crossing fingers on at least one working. here is the wiring codes. I just want to make a toggle switch or something simple for testing before I put it on the boat.
