What has Bush done right?<br /><br />Thanks to his cutting taxes for ALL tax payers (that means WE get to keep more of what WE earn) our economy is growing at 4% per year. When Clinton left office, the US economy was growing at less than 1/2 of 1%. Remember the recession Bush inherited?<br /><br />Federal revenue is higher than it has ever been. 2.15 trillion, the highest in history.<br /><br />Unemployment is under 5%. Globally, that is among the best, and lower than the averages for the 70's, 80's and 90's.<br /><br />Clinton slashed the US armed forces roughly by one half. Aside form lobbing cruise missiles at an aspirin factory in Sudan, he did nothing to protect America and it's interests from terrorism. (1994 WTC attack, USS Cole, 3 embassy bombings, etc.)<br /><br />In 2005 the US averaged a net increase of 200,000 new jobs..........PER MONTH!<br /><br />2001 to 2005 saw the highest rate of labor productivity over any four year period since the Labor Department started measuring it.<br /><br />The US economy has generated $750 billion in new personal wealth in the past 17 months according the Wall Street Journal.<br /><br />In 2005 total American household net worth reached $51 trillion according to the Federal Reserve, an all time high, and almost double what it was in 1995.<br /><br />For the past 11 quarters economic growth has been over 3%. That's higher than the average for the past 30 years.<br /><br />According to the Chicago Sun-Times, thanks to tax cuts, government revenues grew and the deficit decreased by $96 billion from fiscal year 2004 to FY 2005. In fact, the 2005 deficit came in at just 2.6 percent of GDP, compared to 5.1 percent in 1985. Despite predictions about the deficit threatening interest rates, the 10 year Treasury yield is well below where it was in 2000, when we had the phony Clinton "surplus."<br /><br />America is safer and more prosperous today than in 1999. The reason? As I have shown with empirical evidence and facts, the reason is George W Bush.<br /><br />And now all you liberal socialists can go screw.
