I edit my immediate response, but I am not clear on what you are saying Castaway. Do you think there is supposed to be a separation of church and state or not. If not, then which church should be in power? For the record, I dont link the separation issue with eliminating God and Christian symbols from courtrooms, 911 memorials, money , or schools. That linkage would be like throwing out the baby with the bath water. I think we need the separation and have always had it in this country, and we dont need the destruction of our culture which is new, divisive, dangerous and getting everyone po'ed.

Yes im a bit confused as well....Castaway is it just the ones who dont believe in any God or is it the ones that beleive in a certian God you dont like? Or both?

Nope, the Great Spirit was here first. Accept that. And our nation was never 'Under God' until that socialist president inserted the statement in the pledge... which has no standing in law anyway.

Ok Braindead in my huble opinion ( and thats all it is) Our nation and every other nation as well as every religon and and even the athiasts are under God. I have since debating with you yesterday come to the realalization that separation of church and state is fine. As far as Im conserned if Christains want Crosses and the Ten Comandments on veiw then we need to put them on our own property. We should put our money where our mouth is and buy up property and put Our beliefs on display as much as posable. In a country where a minority can get together and cause a big stink about something that does not hurt them than maybe the magority should get together and fight it with this means. I saw it happen here and Im sure if seeing the ten comandments in a park bothers the athiasts well then to see a sign in every Christians yard must of infuriated the athiasts.
