Yes, I'd probably do re-facing of the cabinets and drawers as well as a new countertop. . . when the time comes. My Dad build (had built) this house in 1992 ish. Kitchen and baths are all "builder's grade" kind of stuff. He didn't really go for the fancy stuff.
