    One more thing, on the old water pump, I put a hose on the pump to flush it backwards, water was leaking from the drive shaft. I'm thinking, if the impeller is pressed in tight, how would water get past the impeller? This test was low pressure water

    This generic diagram shows a fuse at the motor, the only one I've seen was a old glass bulb type, I cut it out and installed a new blade type. There is power at this fuse.

    The cable is not long enough to hold the roller against the timmer plate. I rebuilt the motor, same cables from old motor. The only thing that could have happen, i used linkage parts from 95, mines an 96, I would have never thought they were not the same motor

    I had the boat idling on a hose at 900 rpm. I took it to the lake and it will not idle. Useing a timming light, i can not get the idle timming below 10 degrees btdc.     Cooling problems

    I put the thermostats in water on the stove, they both opened about 145. I just replaced the cup and impeller. I did notice the cap didn't seem flat, I was having problems with the new house and rubber gasket staying in place. so, I used the old one. I'm ordering a new pump and will uses all of it.
