    So I’m a rookie at this but I can figure things out. The pump circuit is part of the carb? I know stupid question. Do you think a rebuild on the carb could help? Everything else is good. All gauges etc…. Thank you for taking time to help me out. I really appreciate it.

    Hi Scott, I hope rebuilding the carb will help. It idle fine and when you give it some gas it runs rough and then smooths out. I’ve changed Fuel filter, new plugs and wires, new fuel pickup value. So I think it’s the carb issue.

    Is it possible to put some air in it and blow the water out like you do for an RV? Would that hurt things. Maybe keep the plugs out and take it for a spin around the block to move any water left out? I know how to change the oil and lower unit. Just wasn’t 100% on getting the water out...

    Yes, I have that to apply it but still need to slide it onto the shift cable. Think I will try Vaseline
