Shoestring Starcraft SS160 Resto-mod - let the long slow road begin

I ran into a similar issue on mine. Ultimately, I had to add a shim under mine to level them out. Plus under the back braces too because of the added thickness of the flooring. SHSU

Starcraft 1971'? 16' to Duck Boat Rebuild

What temperature did you apply it in? Once epoxy starts to kick it usually cures faster, not slower. Did you mix enough hardener and for long enough? I would do a test sample with your spare epoxy to see if you have a bad batch. SHSU

I have ours mounted on the front of the console. It has been pounded by water many times with no issue. As you aren't plugged into power during use the cover seals out the water. SHSU

You would have to try and swap them. I think its the connectors at the helm that will make or break the idea. Other option is just swap the whole steering box. Holes should be the same so should just be a simple unbolt and rebolt. SHSU

Most times the anodes are on the outboard. As long as you got a good connection between the hull and the anode I don't see an issue. Just use a multimeter to check resistance between an anode and some exposed metal on the hull. As long as you have no resistance, should do the trick. SHSU

Where do I belong? Alum Goods 1687, SS16 Clone?

Looks really good!!! Impressed with your thought to detail on the curvature. I didn't install my padding back as I didn't think people would be resting against it, but love the finished look. The front access hole, my PO cut a whole in it to get to the front area too. I don't know why...

Shoestring Starcraft SS160 Resto-mod - let the long slow road begin

I didn't have issues with my T-nuts falling out, but I liberally coated them in epoxy while I was sealing the base. Just ran a tap through before I did the install with no issue. Once you get bolt in them, I don't see an issue. Its just in the interim if you leave them free. SHSU

Second, having a working tach. Good to know how hard you are pushing the engine. As for the fuel, I am with you now hearing that you dropped oil first and then gas. I know mixing it is important. I have at least 20 minute drives from where I fuel up to where I put in. So I figure there is...
