    Windshield booster?

Man, I didn't even think about having a new frame built. If I had, I probably would have done that. SHSU

    Windshield booster?

On my build I thought about raising the windshield, but in the end didn't. Trying to get an additional aluminum frame built up to match the slope of the console/gunwale/windshield didn't seem to be a worthwhile venture. Do I keep looking at other options to extend or create some kind of cover...

Where do I belong? Alum Goods 1687, SS16 Clone?

Any thought on using Rusoleum Topside marine paint? Only ask as not familiar with Tremcald but guess its similar to Tractor Paint. I used the tractor paint on my build and also the Topside Marine paint. Can I tell the difference, no, but figured I would throw it out there. SHSU

    New Journey

I have read you can fill with water and then put a couple drops of food coloring in. Watch where it goes and it should show you where the leak is coming from. Again I haven't tried this method myself, but if you wanted to try a more targeted approach then just doing the entire seam. SHSU

Starcraft 1971'? 16' to Duck Boat Rebuild

Looks like you made it work. I just screwed it together and then backed out the screws later. Filled that with epoxy when I coated it. SHSU

Can't comment on the Loctite for this application. I used Titebond III. No issues with failure on any wood project, boat or other, where I have used this stuff. SHSU

Sacrificial anodes on an aluminum hull - Advice needed

I test my anode for connectivity between it (skeg) and different metal points on the hull. Thus far, I have gotten clean signals of connectivity whenever I have tried. Think its the thru bolts that are conducting the signal. SHSU

Starcraft 1971'? 16' to Duck Boat Rebuild

T- nut Also, I had extra plywood so I created 1.5 inch flooring under the seat bases by using it as the backing. No complaints thus far.

Starcraft 1971'? 16' to Duck Boat Rebuild

No experience with RTD, but CDX or BCX should do just fine. I would go with one sheet of 3/4 glued in half. That being said, technically plywood is just a bunch of sheets glued together so one glue or two is up to you. Floor should have been 1/2 from factory. I went with 3/4 as I am a...

Sacrificial anodes on an aluminum hull - Advice needed

Same here. When I was going crazy during my build, @Watermann is the one that told me to keep it simple. Even though I am in salwater most of the time, we don't dock by any power nor are we in the water longer then 12 hours. So the anode on the motor seems to be enough for us. SHSU
