    Yes definitely advantage of fully draining OB. While I can drain my block (5 plugs easily accessible) we live too far from where we keep it to take advantage of any warm days. You are much farther south..

    I had to use a two jaw gear puller same reason corrosion pushing bushing out. Needed to get small wire wheel to clean out inside of cylinder where bushing goes as I couldn’t get new bushings in.

    I used Amsoil on my 73 and 75 Evinrudes (9.5 & 15) was very happy with it. I ran it a little leaner than the 50:1 (couldn't go to the 75:1 or 100:1 it says you can) kept my plugs cleaner was less smokey, but smoke wasn't my issue.
