    Add some chopped glass to it for strength. Push it in and spread flat and clean. Make sure though prior all edges have been wetted out and dry. You can feather the bumps out afterwards to blend.

    Nothing but rain. I've had the boat cover off for the last 2 weeks to clean up the boat some. Probably scoot out and recover in the rain and get set up.

    Thanks Guys, So ok, what would you use on your boat? Im just asking and don't want to be said "I'm over thinking it. Looks like the diamond grits come in a much higher grit than the other two mentioned. Also sold as a kit with multiple grits. What grit is recommended or work up to/280 or past 280.

    Any recommendations for lapping compounds appreciated. So far these seem to be in use for flywheel. Opinions welcomed. Loctite 1777012 Clover Grinding and Lapping Compound, 2-oz. 280 fine grit silicone carbide Permatex 80037 Valve Grinding Compound, 3 oz. Grit Number 280
