    Thanks I’ll take any info as to a competent pontoon repair/replace facility. I have found only one , USA pontoons…500 miles away though. Great Lakes skipper has toons… The welder says no way to repair safely. You can’t heat aluminum like that. As someone else also said. That’s all I’ve come up...

    I've installed a nice big auxillary tranny cooler in my 5.3 l chevy. Even on extreme hot days in july when pulling my 24' pontoon, I rarely see 190.

    and new pontoons are out there, no secret and not hard to find but those "M" brackets have to match the crossbeam spacing, fit the holes already drilled AND be aligned properly and fit the side filler panel, or it will not be right... but not even close to that yet.
