New impeller, housing good, wear plate good, new poppet and parts, new thermostat etc.
It can run all day at 3/4 throttle.
Hit wide open, it overheats.
The cooling passages clear.

I posted something about this a few years ago, then ran into the same problem last week.
The design of the tank allows moisture to settle in the bottom of the tanks.
This then forms into a fungus that can clog the hoses and pump causing engine failure.
Fungus can grow in diesel and oil tanks...

The alarm sounded, continuous sound.
Turns out the fuel filters alarm was making it sound off.
The tank had a lot of water making the alarm sound off.
I'd heard that alarm should have been intermittent??
What do the different alarms mean?

I was asked about adding grease to the mid section and the zerks coming out??
The Force/Chryslers, the zerks were pushed in and not threaded:(
When the grease is added without proper preparation the zerks come out.
IF?? you do regular maint from initial purchase then you don't usually have to...
As I understand the alarm, for low oil it has an intermittent beep and then it increases
to a steady alarm. Yes /No ?
Can someone explain the beeps and alarms?
If there is water in the gas filter, what alarm sound would I get.

I changed position of the thermos' and made no difference.?
The stbd. side runs hot and the alarm sounds off.

The lower unit's new.

I have a 30" shaft on my motor.
It's a solid shaft no connectors.
What would it take to make it a 25"\
I know removing the 5" extension would be part of it.
But what about the shift shaft and other parts??

My 2002 Mercury 225 EFI at idle it runs rough.
1225433ZY XXL SW
Almost like there's water in the system(no water, clean/ new filters)
After it gets a little past idle it smooth's out and runs really good.
Compression is 150# all 6
