    9mm Ammo Recommendations

Pretty neat it actually came with a rifle. I had one I got with a bunch of stripper clips that I bought but I gave it away as a birthday gift to someone

    ‘67 evinrude vs 19?? Johnson

Ski Twin Vs Big Twin is a different motor. The generators may be the same, but brackets likely won't interchange

    9mm Ammo Recommendations

none sell in unissued condition, however there is a batch of Chinese SKS floating around packed in grease with the bayonets for a little under $500. I think Palmetto State Army is the last one with any of the rifles.. Mine is a Norinco imported that was in a plastic stock but it still had the...

    9mm Ammo Recommendations

Yup. I generally buy 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R as the 2 rifles I've had the longest is an SKS and a Mosin Nagant 91/30. It's generally in the $8-15 per box of 20 for whatever Russian brand is available. Target Sports USA gets me what I want in a couple days, and the shipping starts at $15, but is...

    9mm Ammo Recommendations

I don't have a 9mm, but I would use CCI Blazer. They make a 124 grain FMJ. I use Target Sports USA. Cheaper shipping and generally better prices and selection than Outdoor Limited. They feed my old Military surplus rifles as cheap as possible, although the 6.5 Carcano I just bought I had to get...

    NEW TIRES!

Yes, they list all the possible ways to rotate tires, however you really don't want to do a front/ back only rotation unless the tires are directional

    NEW TIRES!

Cross fronts to the rear and bring the rears straight forward. That puts the tires on every position on the vehicle every 4 rotations.

    Engine Mount Trolling Motors

Indeed, with the advent of troll modes on modern 4 stroke outboards, Lower unit mounted trolling motors were a niche product for some time and have finally been discontinued for a year or 2 A trolling motor will fit on your transom

    NEW TIRES!

Just got to keep them rotated. Grabbers are a harder compound and rely on the tread block to give traction, where a Duratrac and others are softer rubber as well as an agressive tread block, so they need rotated more often. Any 4x4 or AWD is going to be hard on tires and require rotations

    NEW TIRES!

Grabbers are outdated. They 'work' but the performance is easy to surpass. Falken Wildpeak AT3W, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac, Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT are all tires that will outperform the old Grabber AT2 or the newer ATX

    Transom light

Visible 360* for 2 miles in clear weather. ~basically that equates to mount it so it's higher than the windshield and it's good enough

    NEW TIRES!

Tripletreds were discontinued last year. Anything remaining in inventories are old stock. I 'think' that the Assurance Comfort Drive is the successor to that product line. I'd have to log in and check the training materials. I'm a Goodyear Tire advisor through my work

Slow crank on initial start up

try turning it by hand before hitting the starter. Eliminate the electrical components. Almost all outboards have manual starting notches. If it's stiff to turn but loosens up, then it's a needle bearing issue most likely.

    NEW TIRES!

The Weatherready is the top rated all weather tire available at the moment. Good choice

Just bought this Snowblower ,Good, bad ??

Snapper still uses the friction disc on the RER's even today. The machine is the same minus a better deck and a couple new features. But they actually sell kits to bring the older ones up to the modern standard

    NEW TIRES!

Where a tire is made tends to not matter one bit, but there are surely better tires than others and I know of at least one brand of USA made tires that has been putting out absolute trash for ~2 years

Purchasing a 1971 23' Winner, no engine, great shape...

It likely originally had a 165 I6. The 470 is a re power. The tilt/ trim switches confirm that the boat is early 70's... It is a cool boat perhaps worth restoring if that is what you want as I don't think that style of boat is available new anymore, and has not been for some time. A C-Dory...

    Kicking around another hair-brained idea

Why not import a Japanese Kei car... Same size as the golf cart roughly ( 10' long, 50" wide, 660cc engine and parts can be had. I have owned 2 of them, a Suzuki Carry ( cab over pickup ) and a Jimny ( Samurai's close cousin ).. The Jimny being turbocharged would keep up with traffic without...
