    Tilt / trim system? Mine is powered from the battery or battery switch thru separate fuse. It works on my Sea Ray, using the transom mounted switch, with battery switch off.

    I would remove the quick disconnects and hard connect. If quick disconnects are never disconnected and exercised, they tend to form leaks in hostile environments.

    Some tach / hour meters require a pulse (like from the ignition) to get the meter to run. I had to use a pulse generator to get my new tach / hour meter to advance to the 508 hours on the old hour meter. Had it plugged powered for like 21 days to get it right.     Anyone tried a wireless transom trim switch?

    Mercruiser makes a wired version. Have had on / added to all my boats and they work without a hitch. Never seen a wireless one. I would imagine you could get something like to work fairly easily, but there would be a parasitic power drain on the batteries for that to be operational...

    Trim won't go all the way up

    Sounds like the "trailer" switch is bad. It is a separate button, or a 2nd click on the up button, depending on your controls. It bypasses the up/out limit switch to go to full up for trailering.

    Interesting. I checked the compatability list and it has almost 2800 line items. Looks like it does all Merc and Mercruisers Do have to buy adapter cables too for $25, but one is a Mercruiser Cable. Looks like it can ship from US. If you try it out, let us know how it does.
