    Trailer Brakes

Never enough time or money to do it right the 1st time, but always enough to do it again. Been the credo my entire engineer life. Always liked this one too: Contractor's credo, You can have it done fast, have it done right or have it done cheaply. Choose two because all three are not doable.

    Coolant Disappearing, need help

There, fixed it: Coolant has 3 places to go when level is going down. 1. In the engine (head gasket or crack or manifold) 2. In the bilge (hose, fitting, crack (again) or radiator cap) 3. In the exhaust (crack again (manifold, but that would show in the engine through exhaust ports) or leaking...

    Coolant Disappearing, need help

Until he does a pressure test and the stuff mentioned here, there is not a lot of use rehashing everything. Everything can't be okey dokey and coolant still vanishing unless it's something obvious like a bad radiator cap blowing off early / when pressure rises for a few minutes after shut off.

Dark gel coat with white rub marks from black bumper. Seems like they are under the surface.

Try a boat polishing compound first. Have had great luck with Meguires One Step compound: https://www.amazon.com/MEGUIARS-M6701-Step-Compound-1-Gallon/dp/B00029CYRG?th=1

Hour meter not reading Faria Tach - Hour meter gage

If replacing, the hours can be run up on the new by applying 12VDC to gauge and adding a pulse generator to the signal input. I set mine so tach read 3k RPM. The generators are super cheap. $8 for 5 of them...

    Sealing electrical connections?

I would be soldering and using sealing shrink tube, the stuff with the glue in it. For regular connections, I lightly coat everything with No-Ox_ID conductive grease. Telecom companies use it on all -48 VDC buss cables and connections. I use it on all connections on vehicles, boats, battery...

    Bravo one Transom Assembly hole

If I were doing what you are doing, I would download the JM kit template and drill them where they do. They use the S/S screws, but the high quality ones, thinking 316 S/S, not the 308. I did that kit on my B3 and have had zero problems with it. PS: Since you are working it all, I would go the...

    Jerry-Buddy?

Plus, most gas cans these days aren't vented. That would be a problem with this thing. If they made the adapter with a vent on it, it may work well, but flopping around in the boat? I don't think so. USCG may have a problem with it, too.

White chalky crap on sides of my 85 150 blakck max xr2?

Any hot running drive / lower will do that. Bravo 3's are famous for it. Just calcium deposits. Any calcium (hard water) spot remover will work as long as it's not too acidic and won't harm the paint. Heck, even vinegar will remove hard water stains.
