    100 to one was an evinrude mistake and changed it quickly. They can be ran at 100 to one but only under certain conditions. Evinrude grease is still available but and quality marine grease will do. Longevity? Don't run ethanol fuel, fresh water rinse it regularly, grease it grease it, gearcase...

    Is the primer bulb so old that it's harder than a rock? I've seen that. Might be more than one thing going on.

    My 115 E-tec had the I-Command tach. Wot it was at a little over 11 gallons an hour but at 10% back or so it was under 8. Quite sizable really. I learned by have that page up I would run slower. Without the page up if say...."aah, who cares.

    Not sure on the equipment but I can tell you how to run....if your in a hurry (bite is on) and the water allows the speed, go full bore and back off 10%. All other times no more than 60%. I rarely honor the second thing!

    Tilt goes up and down by opening the bleed screw, trim does not or needs lots of weight. Go online and search how to bleed the air out.

    Did you replace the fluid? Google how to cycle air out of the pump otherwise it's probably shot.

    When the LU was off you might have spun the linkage. There is a certain height it needs to be. Others will know that height. Also learn how to connect the shift/throttle cables correctly.

    Water got in the switch....the one below the cowl, and can't get out. This should be easy to diagnose. You have a short somewhere. Do you have a meter and do you know how to use one?

    He's telling you how to diagnose if it's one of the switches. Eliminate the switches as a problem then if it's not that go to the next possibility.

    Alternator, fuse able links and battery's test ok but alt is singing, hotter than hell and stinks like burning electrical. Best guess the alt is on its way out. Let me know if you don't agree.

    First video is labeled private. Remake that video. Your hand pump might pump more velocity than your impeller so not sure if that test proves anything. Grommet, gasket, cracked block could be issues but usually it's something dumb.

    OMS help needed

    Your referring to the optical sensor pickup ...they still had a plain old vro.... Alarm sounding on start up only, means that the horn works.....it does not mean the system works. Learn how to test that all your warning systems are working correctly. Much info on this out there.

    What's an OMS pump.....should just be the vro pump. Inexpensive diaphragm flap. Better question is is why didn't the low pressure oil alarm go off. Also, there is a check valve issue with those. Try running it with the oil cap off the oil tank. (Check valve test)
