    The temp sending unit could be bad....sending an intermediate slow mode even though it's not an overheat situation. Compression should always be your 1st go to though.

    That drain hole is like smaller than your finger so if you get a lot of rain or take water over the bow it fills up pretty fast. Definitely a poor design. Mine was plugged with sand. Yes, it all trailed back to a pump in the back. I think I heard whaler bought them and discontinued the line.

    I think I had that same boat. The drainage holes between the seats is ridiculous. If you got water in it it took forever to get it out. Is yours like that?

    The stock impeller is shown as a three fingered impeller in the parts diagram.

    Why do you think you need to re-seal the motor? Was there water in the oil? I think you should be more positive, you will do fine.

    My 35 the driveshaft pulls right out and the impeller pulls off the bottom. Not sure on your motor.

    Rectifier is quicker and easier to test. I would start there.

    Yes everywhere really. If it's at home probably cooler. Overheat is probably even higher but not familiar with that motor. I think you will get it flushed but that's just a guess. Good luck.

    No need to replace relays if motor is spinning. Oil should be filled to top screw in the up position.

    Well part number 21 shows your part number (not available) and then shows additional part numbers so not sure if those parts might be upgrades. You could always call them.

    I would pull the gearcase again and flush down....you can also pull the tell tale fitting off the block and run it for a second or two to see if it's stopped up there. You can shoot the ir gun all over, nothing should be over 145 or so and much less at idle.

    That's crazy. Not good and yes there is some small passageways that it goes through before the thermo opens. Also, in your case the thermo probably opened putting debris in other areas like your head. Couldn't tell from your explanation but did you back flush it through your t-stat hole? You...
