    Bravoitis Repair Question

ok, that is a compression fitting, so the rubber when compressed will hold the plastic pipe The drive has water pressure against it but not that high. So long as the pipe is inside the fitting, and the rubber disc is compressed as listed in documentation, it will hold

I looking for just how the water flows thru the motor and out to see if there is something on the port side which can restrict flow. The port side is always a slight bit hotter on most just because that's the way the motors are built As Scott mentioned it can also be the mufflers. If the port...

No fuel at rail with KO/EO merc 350 mag mpi tow sport (02 centurion)

Using SN 0m312634 You can have up to 2 pumps The reason I say up to 2 pumps is because this was the change over period. If you do not have a pump Boost the fuel filter, you only have one pump which is below the port side under the motor mount. Get a gas can, small or large doesn't matter...

    Trolling motor disrupts sonar image

Guessing, but trolling motor on the bow means it's stirring up the water, and making bubbles. Sonar can not read thru bubbles nor can a depth finder. But will see if @dingbat knows better

    Mercruiser 5.0 MPI idling problem

Correct, appears to be working, So long as switch does same when running (nola mike) Not seeing signs of vacuum leak. Motor goes under heavier load (idle in gear) and idle smooths out. Going into gear would cause the IAC to open more do to load Be nice if scanner was connected to watch what...

    Mercruiser 5.0 MPI idling problem

It does fine in-gear and rough in neutral As nola mike mentioned it's the shift interrupter. The switch is staying engaged and causes the rough idle. Might need adjusted, lubricate linkage or replaced
