Don't get me started....Welcome to the world of propriety communication protocols ....lol You're not supposed to understand it. You buy a "black box" from one subsidiary and connect it to a "black box" from another subsidiary. It's magic that you pay to support ;) Seeing multiple architectures...

    Adding ballast to the bow?

What boat? Bracket new as well or just the motor? Assuming carb 150 to 200 DI you looking at #150. Are we talking deck drains or scuppers? I've had 6" of water in my cockpit more than a few times. A "plugged" deck drain would be a problem... If scuppers, ball scuppers will keep the water...

You're dealing with 3 sources of data. Several mentions of gps data is serial. Would explain the puck not being Y2K CAN P, previously known as CAN 1 carries SmartCraft data. Water Pump Cycling On/Off Quickly!

What application? I run the same pump on my washdown. The Par-Max 4 is a high pressure, low flow pump. Can't do much with 3.5 to 4 gpm. How much water (gpm) are you using and for how long do you let the water run? The Accumulator is just a buffer on the pump. Needs to be sized to the load to...

    Charging system Not Working?

There are 4 components of the charging system. Stator, regulator, battery cable and the battery. If you have already replaced the stator and regulator, you have either installed a bad component out of the box or you have a bad cable(s) or battery. Have you throughly inspected and (ohm)...

    Heat transfer dope

The old adage of don't fix something that is not broken applies here The heat transfer compound dried out 15 years ago. Besides, control modules rarely if ever die of heat related failures. It's typically shorts and over /under voltages that take them out. There is a greater chance you damage...

    Moving the filter

Fuel filters are gravity devices. By design, filters are placed on the vacuum side of a pump. Don't know of any "fuel filter" rated for pressure service.

    Fuel issues

Just because there is no water or rocks in the filter doesn't mean that the filter media isn't clogged with sediment and debris. Fuel filters should be changed annually. Have seen the filter media turn to mush after a couple of years
