Most transducer mounts were “breakaway” until the large, side scan transducers hit the market.
The best thing I ever did was install a transducer board on the transom.
Drilled the two mounting holes. Filled with epoxy then back drilled so no glue involved in the installation. The 3/4”...
Filter are filters…. The difference is the filtration rating and pressure drop through the filter
You could not filter two stroke oil out of the gas if you wanted to ;)
The 5/16” line is a problem as it restricts the flow of fuel. Need a 3/8” in-line filter, if anything
The filter in question...
Swap out any fuel lines that are 10 years or older.
Buna gaskets (black) make it 4-5 years before they start to weep with E10. Wouldn't change gaskets until they start to weep or the carbs need rebuilt
Bought a Stihl 028 to clear a lot in 1989. Same thing happened to the plastic “aquarium tubing” in the tank @ 2015 or so. Replaced with Tygon tubing.
Watching, but still no problem with the same line on my shindiawa trimmer of the same vintage
First off, what pump do you have?
Where is the pump mounted?
What are you calling a “high speed pickup?
Once primed, a pump will typically stay primed until you remove the boat unless you have a leak in the supply line.
It’s either the isolator or the ACR. You can’t have both in the circuit
What battery switch?
Starter typically goes to “common” where you currently have the power panel connected.
The drain should be plumbed directly overboard.
On a boat that old, the drain hose could have rotten or broken off and your dumping the water in the forward part of the bilge and the limber holes are clogged
Why are you using paint conditioner on gel coat?
Gel coat is pigmented. The “haze” is UV damaged gel coat. The only way to restore the color is to remove the damaged material surface.
Removing the damage surface is done using rubbing compound on lightly damaged gel or sand paper if the...
If your color is still dull you didn’t use an aggressive enough rubbing compound. I would recommend something like Smoove Pro-Cut 1000
Normally I use Collinite 920 Fiberglas cleaner followed up with 2 coats of Collinite 885 Fleetwax.

If I’m...
Been running nothing but E-10 since 2000.
Done nothing except swap out carb gaskets (brown) on the 1997 Ocean Pro in 2005.
Ironically, the carb stack currently on the motor (1998) never had the gaskets updated. Just now starting to leak bad enough to need replaced.
Depends on the option package(s) on his truck.
If he has the 3.5EB with the heavy tow and payload packages, he has 4 wheel disc plus the “engine braking” feature in tow haul mode.
My wife’s horse trailer is pushing #8k pretty hard. She drove around for a week or so without (electric) brakes...
Where did you come up with the need for a weight distribution hitch with that truck?
A WDH is only required for bumper pull over #5K.

Apparently you’re right on the voltage threshold of the unit.
In neutral say you’re at 12.0 volts.
In gear, your at 11.8 volts
Bad connection or poor installation
Yes, transducer… ;)
No reason you can’t try it on the left side. Just need to put it further outboard. Can’t get too far out or you’ll have issues in turns
