Aerator water Pump & drain overflow port.

The size of the body of water had nothing to do with pressure. It’s all about the drain relative to the water line. If the drain is below the water line you will have to wait until you trailer the boat. If the drain is above the water line like mine, it drains when you pull the plug

    FELL Marine MOB+ Install

I have a kill switch built into the ignition switch but it’s useless if I’m up and about. Left the ignition intact and simply wired the MOB to the fuse panel at the helm. Wired in series with the kill switch in the ignition. Unit only draws 2.5W so the current drain is insignificant.

    White smoke?

Pull a plug. If it’s “clean” you have a water problem. Typically a head gasket

How do you guys mix Gas

Unlike the past when high viscosity motor oils where used, todays two stroke oils are designed with a low viscosity to allow the oil to be mixed with gasoline quite easily. One only needs to combine the two products with light agitation to mix the two My boat is injected, but when mixing fuel...

How to actually BOOK a flight online?

I travel for a living. You will not get better flights or prices going with a third party booking service. I book everything direct using my Southwest or Untied app. Simple, quick and easy. International flights are cheapest at 60 days. Prices go up as the seats fill up. Traveling during...

    bilge problem

Should be no parasitic drain at all if the boat is wired correctly, i.e. nothing but bilge pump(s) wired directly to battery. Both of my batteries are completely isolated from any load on the boat when I turn the battery switch to off.

    bilge problem

Sensing consumption: 2.7 watts per day 18.9 watts per week 81 watts per month 972 watts per year If you have a problem starting the boat after consuming 81 watts in a month, your long over due for a new battery

    Johnson power pack testing

No, it can not be used as a DVA. The update rate of the units isn't fast enough to catch the voltage peaks your looking for. Need to build a DVA adapter from above instructions.

    power pack testing

That's a model 260... Nope, not fast enough. Will need to build a DVA box noted above

2 stroke vs 4 stroke prop differences

You can’t assume they both make the same HP. Actual output can be plus or minus 10% of the “rated” HP. Example: The 2 stroke could be 81 hp and the 4 stroke could be 99 hp. Extreme comparison but possible with the rating system

    trim tabs or not?

Personally wouldn’t own a boat w/o helm controlled tabs Bow control and load balancing are their two biggest attributes but certainly could help minimize wonder. Depends on your expectation of “straight” Are you driving or steering?

    Wheel Bearing Inspection Interval

They did a lot of work on sealing the rear seal as well. Installed SS wear sleeves on shaft. Rear seals are captive and covered with a sleeve as a first line of defense. Ironically they use the same rear seal I’ve been using for years with the same wear sleeve. The only thing they improved...
