    It took a little less than a 1/2 hour to burn through the 5 Gal(Imp) Tank. I guess that would be about 13 1/2 gal(US)/hr. It got about 4mph at WOT, it was really good at about 38 mph, a Tank would last over an hour All the Motors I listed above were Broken in by myself and were in good...

    1982 was the year Mercury started Prop Rating Engines larger than the 50 cubic inches. There have been rumours for Decades that in 82, Mercury rebranded the 115 as a 90, and the 140 as a 115, the 175 as a 150, the 200 as a 175, and the 225 as a 200. Maybe, maybe not, as the Specified Rpm Ranges...

    To us more aged Posters, setting the Coke is so natural to us, we don't even consider it Mentionable... I do find it very Entertaining when the Younger Generation tries starting a Car/Truck/Boat with a Carb....

    I don't know if Mercruiser offered the 302 in a 4bbl. A Holley 2bbl 500cfm is pretty the perfect size for a 302 spinning up to 5000rpm, which is far higher than the Marine 302s ever turned

    How long is that Hose? Was it completely Kink Free? 40 psi, as mentioned above is Meaningless, if the Flow is very low And now for the Rest of the Story.... Any other work done to the Engine?

    Marine Grade Plywood inside and out, is the way to go. Sealed with Epoxy, it should last at least a couple of Decades

    I have several GM Manuals from the 70s and 80s, and I have never seen that in any of them. Some do say to make sure all lights, external and internal, are off.

    I wish I could keep them from coming on, until it actually gets Cold. Right now the darn things are automatically on when it gets to about 8C(approx 45F)

    It was on a Crestliner Crusader 550. Prop was 19" Mercury Prop. The pic was taken in July 85/ I have a pic of the Tach and Speedo giving their Info, I just have to get it into the Computer A 4 blade will kill the Top End by several mph... I would NEVER put a 4 blade on my Boat

    I have never owned a TP Prop, I was at the Dealer, and took one out of the Box, it looked Odd, so I took a few more out, and several had 1 of 3 misshaped Blades. Maybe they had a bad Batch, but it shows poor QC and/or Inspection prior to packaging
