    1986 Beachcraft 170

Same for the stringers inside, if you cant acess the wood directly then drill some small holes to check, easy to fill if wood is solid. All these tap and thump tests are useless !!

    Ok. Trailer time!

What does it take to get a title ?? Vin numbers can easily be changed with some simple hand stamps. Create your own vin # and call it homade. Not recomending criminal activity but when your states rediculous laws leave you no choice ????

    I need a tool, don't know what it's called...

The really small pin gages are often refered to as wire gages. If my memory is anywhere around they ranged from .025 down to .005 in diameter

Engine Alignment tool goes in about 1/4 of the way, question.

I always kept a few on hand, because at the end of every season I removed the outdrive for inspection. Let it drain over the winter then added fresh lube and reinstall at the start of the season. Never wanted to be without a new gasket !!

    Wheel bearing grease "oozing"

I might add, that at least once a year I slip a jack under the axle and raise each wheel/ tire and give it a spin. Check for any noises, easy turning, no slop/ play when side force is applied, then add a little grease while spinning until it comes out the overflow hole. If everything feels...

Your tach tells the story, looke like you are right in your range but mabey a little high. On my boats, I prop to max rpm with the lightest load I ever plan on running, in other words, just me and minimum gear. Adjust pitch to give max wot rpm. Then I will be good with passengers etc. If...

    Wheel bearing grease "oozing"

Seals are a big possibility, another thing to consider is the added grease being compatible....have run into this in the past...some types of grease do not play well together, once your bearings are cleaned and greased, you should keep using the same grease !! I have witnesses greases turn into...

Replaced prop with the "same" spec prop. Loss of bottom end.

Needed to make a sale, hopefully you can return it !! This is why using a prop shop is better, more costly yes, but often well worth it.
